Bonolo Helen Chepape
Textile Designer and Founder, Lulasclan
Born in 1991 in Rustenburg, North West, South Africa, and now residing in Cape Town, Bonolo Helen Chepape is a distinguished multidisciplinary textile and surface designer. She is the founder and creative director of Lulasclan, a heritage homeware brand and exclusive textile design studio established in 2016. Viveka Vassen
Co-founder & Creative Director, Ananta Design Studio
Viveka Vassen is the co-founder and designer of Ananta Design Studio, together with her sister Rucita Vassen. Their multidisciplinary practice merges their African roots and Indian heritage into joyful, functional art. Through vibrant colour, pattern, and cultural storytelling, they empower local craft communities, transforming traditional techniques into collectible decor, furniture and lighting pieces that celebrate craftsmanship, community and identity.
Olivié Keck
Painter and Printmaker
Olivié Keck is a painter and printmaker based in Cape Town. Her work embodies graphic portrayals of human theatrics, with radiant colours and richly embellished patterns acting as the flamboyant backdrops for her characters to inhabit. Her work is heavily influenced by the aesthetic intersection between Western and African textile design. Her preoccupation with themes of contemporary pop culture and domesticity are expressed through the graphic language of pop art extravagance, peppered with the classic romanticism of feminine motifs.
